Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time based on shift availability

Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00

Shift differential available.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including but not limited to personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Implement person centered service plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Physically assist clients with maintaining their homes and personal property so that they experience a clean, safe, and healthy environment
  • Provide varying levels of personal care for adults with developmental disabilities
  • Adhere to state and agency administrative and personnel policies while supporting the vision, goals and values of Access Living, Inc.
  • Maintain required training and certifications and annual continuing education credits
  • Responsible for accurate, routine documentation of client care & procedures
  • Some clients require physical support with transferring.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Effective time management, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with supervisors and other team members and attend meetings as required.

  • Maintain compliance with required training, certifications, and annual continuing education credits.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Requires general computer literacy with the ability to use internet-based tools with confidence for daily tasks and communication.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in internet browsers, and general computer navigation.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and read, write, and understand English
  • Able to attend required training (training hours are paid)
  • Ability to pass and maintain an acceptable background check
  • Employees must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated (SARS CO-V2) by their start date

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Shift availability: To meet the needs of the individuals we support, team members must be available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM Daily, including weekends. Actual shift schedules are assigned within this timeframe based on client needs.
